A wise van sage once told me that BEUTEL tape would be my huckleberry......... man, he was right............. I put this pop-up vent in my van so shit would be nice and cool while I'm cruisin' for ladies............

I'm pretty stoked on how it came out........... getting close.........

So, I bought this rack for my VAN a couple weeks ago........... well, I tried it on and it looked like a fat man in a tiny coat............. it was too small..........

Made a little trip to the hardware store bought some conduit and made shit happen............ after a little cutting and grinding I got it sorted.......... I'm stoked on how it turned out........ I know it's fucking simple but I searched for a roof rack I dug for a long time and when the one I got was small I was a little bummed, so I am psyched that it worked out in the end.........

Gutteral and fired up!!!

So i gutted all the junk wiring out of the van today and wired up the solenoid to this old battery i had laying around.. Then wired up the starter. I used the push button switch my dad has as the ignition switch. It had an electronic fuel pump on it, i didn't know if the mechanical one worked or not so i hooked the electric fuel pump back up, then i pulled the 1st plug and turned it over real quick to make sure it had spark and it did. I filled the old rusty radiator up with water which i was surprised didn't leak, the van had oil in it and it looked good so i left it alone, i sprayed some gas in the carb a few times and turned it over and it started for a second, so i was stoked!! then i made this elaborate pepsi 2 liter bottle as an I.V. to the fuel line the electronic fuel pump worked like a dream and it fired up after some coughs and chokes but all in all the motor sounded perfect no smoke, pings or knocks but the carb leaked really bad Thats an easy fix!! i'll be rewiring the whole van soon and getting the correct battery so i can get it on the road for a while

sooo.... my van is an old pacific bell work van. meaning IT IS WORKED! its pretty rusted, and dented and on its last leg. at least it was. now its running like a champ, and is slowly starting to look like a beautiful molester mobile. so this van is called a display van. theyre slightly rare. the big window behind the passengers side barn doors, and the no windows on those same barn doors make it a display van. anyway. yeah. its a slant six with a one barrel carb, but im getting everything together to do the super six upgrade. going to drop the front and get some side pipes. and with the orange shag rug ill have this week.... its going to rule.

More VAN shit...............

I have always dug the look of a spare tire on the back of a van.......... that and I don't have a lot of room inside for a spare..... well, the one thing is I've always hated how far out the stock spare tire holders sit......

Damion came through with a stock carrier.... I trimmed it down a little and flipped it over......... I'm stoked that it sits in real tight and is practically hidden by the spare (of course the spare that's on there in the pictures is only a doughnut)...... now I have the best of both worlds..... I have my spare out back and didn't lose the look of my barn door........

It looks uneven in the last picture but it's not...... it's dead nuts.......... I just hadn't buttoned it up totally when I took the picture...........
